This seminar, led by Arthur Jones and open to the public, will be seven Tuesday evenings, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, beginning March 25th and continuing through May 13th*, focused on the 2023 Revised Edition of Wade in the Water: The Wisdom of the Spirituals. Participants will be asked to read consecutive chapters in the book, in preparation for each of the seven seminar sessions. Dr. Jones will be expanding on the book’s content through brief lectures, extended discussion, communal singing (No worries; carrying a tune is not required!), and recorded music samples.

*There will be a break on April 1st.
